Tasmanian musician Tyler Richardson from the band Luca Brasi has been suggested as a potential candidate to create the theme song for the newly announced Tasmanian AFL team.

During a recent interview on Triple M Hobart breakfast with hosts Woody and Tubes, Richardson expressed his excitement about the Tasmanian team, saying he was “Tassie 100%”.

When asked about creating the team’s theme song, Richardson joked that he could “come up with some stupid song in the car on the way to work anytime”.

Although he was hesitant to confirm anything, Richardson did reveal that he had started to “throw some threads about mixing some beats” and would be open to trying it out.

Richardson is no stranger to creating theme songs, having written and sung ‘Jackies are on the March’ for the Tasmania JackJumpers basketball team.
