Plane over Tasmania becomes world’s ‘most tracked flight’

A plane from Auckland to Perth that flew over Hobart in the last half an hour briefly became the world’s ‘most tracked’ flight on FlightRadar!

According to the popular plane tracking app, hundreds of Tasmanians jumped on to see what left a ‘massive vapor trail’ in the sky over Hobart.

The daily Auckland to Perth flight is a frequent visitor to the Tasmanian skies, with Hobart Airport being used as a waypoint.
