Iconic Music Store Closing Doors In Tassie

An iconic music store is shutting up shop in Tassie.

Sanity stores in Launceston, Devonport, Burnie, Hobart and the mainland will close by April as digital streaming takes over.

Customers who have placed orders at closed stores will have their orders fulfilled through the online business.

Sanity was founded by retailer Brett Blundy in 1980 and grew to include over 230 stores across Australia by 2000.

It is currently owned by Ray Itaoui.
